Codexa Names Product Manager; TVN Appoints President, CEO
* Codexa Corp., a Pasadena-based online information provider for Wall Street professionals, has named Gary Ghazarian product manager. He is a former executive at Wilshire Associates.
* Burbank-based TVN Entertainment Corp., a digital content distributor and rights manager of TV-quality video and CD-quality audio, has appointed Ian B. Aaron president and chief executive. Aaron is a former president of SoftNet Systems Inc., a broadband services company.
* Donald W. Kelley Jr. has been named chief financial officer of Haagen Co., a Torrance-based developer of retail properties. He was previously chief financial officer of Watson & Associates in Seal Beach.
* William H. Ferguson has been named a partner in the Los Angeles office of SCA Consulting. Before joining SCA in 1998, Ferguson was a senior manager for Marakon Associates.
* BizRate.com, a Los Angeles-based consumer ratings Web site, has tapped former GoTo.com executive Zoe Myerson to lead its newly created sponsorship group. Myerson will manage the company’s sponsorship relationships with manufacturers.
* Long Beach-based financial services firm Bryson Financial Group is expanding its retirement benefits division with the addition of Todd Bryson and Kristin McCormick. Bryson is joining the company’s Benefits Planners Inc. affiliate as a retirement plan consultant. McCormick is joining as a pension administrator at the company’s B&B; Pension Administrators Inc. unit.
