LOS ANGELES — Two teenagers were injured after someone chased them down and shot them, police said.
The boys, 16 and 18, were on the 3900 block of Boyce Avenue in the Silver Lake area about 9:10 p.m. Tuesday when an unknown suspect began chasing them, said Los Angeles Police Det. Jose Carillo of the Northeast division. Both teenagers were hit by gunfire but are expected to survive their injuries, Carillo said.
The motive for the shooting is not known but it was probably gang-related, Carillo said.
