No Man Is an Island
TV ratings show Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph I. Lieberman drew more viewers (20.3 million) than the Repub-lican’s Dick Cheney (18.6 million) during their acceptance speeches. It’s slight comfort, however. Nearly 29 million viewers, the most yet, found Wednesday’s “Survivor” episode more interesting.
CHENEY SPEECH: 18.6 million
LIEBERMAN SPEECH: 20.3 million
“SURVIVOR”: 28.7 million
