The winners from a ballroom dance competition that was held as part of the third annual Orange County Senior Games have been announced.

In the Golden Senior Swing category: Robert Newberger and Audrey Ittel of West Covina won the gold; Frank Cornello and Shirley Dennis of Huntington Beach got silver; and Walter Stone and Estra Shaffer of Laguna Woods earned bronze.

In the Golden Senior American Smooth championship division: Don and Joyce Radesky of Escondido, gold; Ralph and Florence Jakwerth of Brea, silver; and Frank Patrao and Rusty Gamble of Laguna Woods, bronze.

Thirty-two people competed in the event that was held at Clubhouse 5 in Leisure World earlier this month.
