* Members of the largest union at Raytheon Co. are expected to go on strike today after rejecting a proposed contract from the No. 3 U.S. defense contractor, saying the company had failed to offer sufficient health and job security benefits. The strike by 3,000 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers members would involve workers in Massachusetts, where the company makes its Patriot missile and Hawk missile defense system. Raytheon said it had taken steps to allow operations there to continue “as normally as possible.”
