Havas Interactive, a maker of entertainment software, signed a 10-year, $30-million lease for 75,000 square feet of office space at 6080 Center Drive, the newest building at Arden Realty’s Howard Hughes Center along the San Diego Freeway at Howard Hughes Parkway.
Havas is taking the top three floors at the 12-story, 290,000-square-foot building, where construction began in March and is slated to be completed next spring. Arden Realty was represented in-house by Michael Pollock. David Toomey of Cresa Partners represented Havas, which will move its headquarters from Torrance to the new site.
The building at 6080 Center Drive is one of three Arden office projects at Howard Hughes Center, a 70-acre development about 2 miles north of Los Angeles International Airport that includes theaters, shopping and restaurants.
The other office projects are the 241,000-square-foot 6060 Center Drive, which is fully leased, and a 159,000-square-foot building that Arden is developing for Univision Communications Inc. that is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2001. Arden has approvals to construct about 600,000 square feet of additional office space at the Howard Hughes Center.
