Authorities said the victim, Mario Duarte, was killed about 1 a.m. Aug. 20 at a Jack-in-the-Box in the 300 block of Mission Boulevard in San Fernando. Duarte and a man described as Latino and in his mid- to late teens had been involved in a minor traffic dispute minutes before the shooting.

Investigators are looking for the man, who is of medium build, has dark eyes and a shaved head. He has a cut or scar on his forehead. Authorities are also looking for a Latina in her late teens or early 20s, about 5 feet 3 and possibly heavyset. She had dyed reddish-orange hair with blond streaks in front. Her lower lip is pierced with a metal stud.
