DoubleClick Inc. said it expects results between break even and a 3-cent-a-share loss in the fourth quarter, compared with analysts’ estimates of a 2-cent-a-share profit, because of softer spending on online advertising. The company expects fourth-quarter revenue to be 8% to 10% below expectations. Its shares fell to $11.50 in after-hours trading after closing at $11.94, up 6 cents, on Nasdaq.
