Shares of Lantronix Inc. surged $2.63, or 43%, to $8.75 Monday in Nasdaq trading after Needham &
Co. analyst A.A. Lafountain III initiated coverage of the Irvine producer of network device servers and rated the stock a “strong buy.”
The stock has bounced back from a low of $3.88 on Oct. 30, but remains below its high of $12.38 on Aug. 30.
