Columbia TriStar Television Names Pierce Executive VP

* Justin Pierce has been promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president at Columbia TriStar Television. He will work with the unit’s president, Len Grossi, in developing business strategies for the television operations.

* Auctioneer Christie’s has promoted Andrea Fiuczynski to president of Christie’s Los Angeles with responsibility for managing the saleroom and office as well as business development. The company also promoted Linda David to vice president, general manager in Los Angeles, as well as Robert Baumann to vice president, senior account manager.

* MyContracts.com, a Santa Monica-based online service that integrates contract management, real-time benchmarking and e-procurement, has named Terri Zinkiewicz chief financial officer. Zinkiewicz will have responsibility for all aspects of financial management for the company. She previously served as group controller for six divisions of TRW.

* Roger Trahan has been appointed trade manager for the World Trade Center Assn. of Los Angeles-Long Beach and will be based in its Long Beach office. He will be responsible for promoting and facilitating trade in Long Beach and surrounding communities. He succeeds James Paul, who was recently named trade manager of the association’s Los Angeles office.

* Kathleen Smith has been promoted to regional vice president of Allegiance Telecom’s Southwest region. She will be responsible for the Dallas-based local exchange carrier’s sales to small and medium-size businesses in the Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Denver markets. She will be based in Los Angeles.

* Linen retailer Strouds Inc. has promoted divisional vice president Robert F. Valone to general merchandise manager. He joined the Industry-based company in 1999.
