Vandals Fail to Get Peek at Final Exams

Share

Campus rumors to the contrary, vandals who broke into an office at Fullerton College over the weekend didn’t come away with copies of final exams.

The college’s Natural Sciences Division office was vandalized sometime between Friday night and Monday morning. The vandals tipped over potted plants, took candy from a desk and threw it on the floor or glued it to the office walls, officials confirmed.

Brain-weary students, cramming for finals this week, quickly spread the word that the master copies of some upcoming final exams were stolen.

But David Ramirez, director of public safety, said there is no Grinch who stole finals.

“Nothing appears to have been stolen,” he said, “and the vandalism wasn’t very extensive.”

Allen Brown, dean of natural sciences, said the science exams were all in the mail room for production, or locked up in another room when the vandalism took place. “There weren’t any exams taken,” he said.
