Cooper Cos. Increases Annual Dividend

The Cooper Cos. Inc., a Lake Forest maker of glasses and health-care products, said Friday that directors agreed to increase the company’s annual dividend to 10 cents a share from 8 cents, payable semiannually. A previously announced 2-cent dividend payable on Jan. 5 to holders of record on Friday remains in effect. The company’s stock gained $4.19 Friday to close at $35.63 a share in New York Stock Exchange trading.
