McKayle to Create Anaheim Ballet Piece

Modern dance choreographer Donald McKayle will create a new work for Anaheim Ballet, to premiere in August at an outdoor concert in Pearson Park. The work, as yet untitled, was commissioned by funds raised by company board members, according to co-artistic director Larry Rosenberg. Nominated five times for Tony awards, McKayle has been a professor of dance at UCI since 1989.
