Fargas Makes Contact With California, USC
- Share via
School officials at California and USC confirmed Thursday they have received Justin Fargas’ release form from Michigan.
The former Notre Dame High running back has withdrawn from Michigan and plans to transfer with one year of eligibility remaining. He will have to sit out next football season.
Fargas played running back at Michigan until switching to safety early this season.
If Fargas transferred to California, it would give the Golden Bears the region’s top two high school players from 1997 and 1998 in Fargas and former Hart quarterback Kyle Boller.
