Phone Solution

I can’t understand the difficulty being experienced by the phone companies in their push for 10-number phones. All that’s needed would be a letter before each phone number: F for fax, P for regular phone, C for cell phone. Another letter could be used for pagers--or whatever other device is developed in the months and years ahead. It’s easy to remember and would not strain anyone’s brain in trying to recall 10 numbers.
