Myers to Be Honored for Alzheimer’s Work

Mike Myers will receive the Alzheimer’s Assn. of Los Angeles’ Elsa Rose Fabares Award, named after Shelley Fabares’ late mother, for his contributions to the fight against Alzheimer’s during the group’s eighth annual fund-raiser and awards dinner on March 1.

Previous recipient David Hyde Pierce will present the award.

The 6:30 p.m. event, at the Regent Wilshire Hotel, will also feature performances of musical selections from “My Fair Lady” by celebrities including Kelsey Grammer, Jane Leaves, Noel Harrison, Andrea Marcovicci, Sharon Lawrence, Lea Thompson, Neil Patrick Harris and Megan Mullally.
