Internet advertiser DoubleClick can match the name and address of some Internet users with information about online surfing habits. To opt out:
Go to the DoubleClick Web site, https://www.doubleclick.net .
Click on “privacy policy.” Click on the “opt-out” link, which takes you to a page explaining what happens if you choose to opt out.
After you click on the link that says, “If you would still like to Opt-Out, please click here.” DoubleClick will automatically assign your computer an anonymous identifier.
