President of O.C. Forum Is Elected

* Laer Pearce has been elected president of the Orange County Forum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. He is president of Laer Pearce & Associates, a Laguna Hills public relations firm.

* Terry Herbeck has been named chief operating officer of ESAT Inc. in Fountain Valley and will oversee day-to-day operations. Herbeck was previously president of Herbeck Consulting Group Inc. in Huntington Beach. He has also been president at United Surgical Corp. in Irvine and chief executive of Spectrum Intraocular Corp. in Largo, Fla.

* Dick Bosworth has joined Kofax Image Products in Irvine as director of worldwide sales for its Ascent Software business unit. Bosworth was previously vice president of sales for View Tech Corp., and managed sales for PictureTel Corp.
