Edward F. Reidell; Ex-Insurance Officer

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Pierce Bros. Griffin Chapel in Camarillo for Edward F. Reidell, a retired state insurance officer and Camarillo resident.

Reidell died Jan. 20 at age 81.

He was born April 7, 1918, in Pittsburgh, where he grew up, went to school and graduated from Duquesne University.

Reidell served in the Army in both World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW and had been a county resident for the last 19 years.

Reidell enjoyed listening to jazz and played the saxophone and clarinet. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge Band and Grayline Bus Band.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Noby F. of Camarillo; two brothers, John and Walter of Florida; and one sister, Dorothy Vita of Pittsburgh.

Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Bros. Griffin Mortuary in Camarillo.
