Cousineau Stops 38 Shots in Ice Dogs’ Victory

Backed by a strong performance from goalie Marcel Cousineau, the Long Beach Ice Dogs scored in each period on their way to a 4-1 victory over the Manitoba Moose on Saturday.

Cousineau stopped 38 of 39 shots, including 17 in the second period, as Long Beach held the Moose scoreless until the game’s final minute.

Pavel Torgaev had a goal and an assist, Frank Kaberle had three assists and Jan Nemecek, Pavel Rosa and Scott Thomas each scored a goal.
