PacifiCare Unveils Small-Business Plans

Managed health care company PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. said Tuesday that it has designed new benefit plans for small California companies that employ between two and 50 workers.

The Santa Ana company said in a press release Tuesday that its Premier plans include health maintenance organization, preferred provider organization, point of service and group life plans. The products are available through electronic and traditional insurance brokers as well as Pacificare.com.
