Villanova Point Guard Plans to Transfer

Villanova point guard Bobby Smith, suspended indefinitely because of a violation of team rules before a Feb. 5 game against Georgetown, will seek a transfer, Coach Steve Lappas said. Smith, a sophomore, started 17 of 18 games for Villanova before the suspension and averaged 6.3 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds.
