GARDEN GROVE

Two tree plantings will take place next month to celebrate Arbor Day and California Conservation Week.

On March 7 at 3 p.m., members of Patton Kids Club, a branch of the Girls and Boys Club of Garden Grove, will plant trees for the sixth consecutive year in Edgar School Park. On March 11 members of the Independent Order of Foresters will plant trees in empty sidewalk tree wells around the city.

On an ongoing basis, the city sponsors a Memorial Tree and an Adopt-a-Tree program for residents. Information: (714) 741-5200.
