The Lake Forest designer and developer of medical products said net income for the fourth quarter was $6.3 million, or 41 cents a share, which included a $4.8-million tax benefit. Net income for the previous year’s final quarter totaled $576,000, or 4 cents a share. Revenue increased 18% to $8.4 million. Net income for the year rose to $8.8 million, or 58 cents a share, from $1.1 million, or 8 cents a share, for 1998. Revenue was up 26% to $29.8 million.
