Watching Dr. Laura

Paramount’s oxymoronic way of standing behind the gay community while perpetuating homophobia in Laura Schlessinger is beyond comprehension (“GLAAD, Paramount Reach Agreement,” by Brian Lowry, Feb. 16).
Dr. Laura has had her 15 minutes of fame; it is now time for her to go away. Fire her and show the world that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.

They have reached an agreement? I wonder. After listening to Dr. Laura for years, she runs her show the way she wants. If she is offensive to the gay community on the radio, I am sure she’ll continue the practice on television.
