The city’s Emergency Services Department will offer two eight-week workshops on how residents can respond in disasters. Participants can attend either a Saturday or Thursday evening workshop. The Saturday workshop will begin March 11; the Thursday course starts April 20. Participants will learn about how to do damage assessment after an emergency, emergency communications and the city’s role in disasters.
