City officials have hired Steven Brisco, a former acting finance director for Azusa, to head Placentia’s Finance Department.

Brisco began his new job last week, replacing Howard Longballa, who resigned last year.

He attended Brigham Young University and graduated from the University of Phoenix, Southern California campus. He earned a master’s degree in business administration in 1995 from the University of La Verne.
