Kinko’s Offers Printing Services Over Internet

In an effort to make oversized full-color prints accessible to small businesses and individual consumers, Ventura-based Kinko’s and Hewlett-Packard will offer custom poster, calendar and banner printing over the Internet.

An online poster and calendar Web site offers calendars, poster and banner templates, along with a gallery of 2,000 images that will enable small businesses to create professional marketing pieces without hiring a professional designer, Kinko’s officials said.

“Kinko’s has been providing oversized photo-quality prints on HPs DesignJet large-format printers for the past three years,” said Ross Waddell, vice president for purchasing and real estate. “This new service gives small businesses and individuals access to big-business tools.”
