The City Council will meet tonight to consider an appeal by the owners of La Mer bar to retain a conditional-use permit. The Planning Commission recently revoked the bar’s permit, citing a six-month investigation last year by the Police Department that found evidence of illegal activity, including prostitution. The council meets at 6:45 p.m. in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. Information: (714) 741-5035.
