* Walt Disney International of Burbank has promoted four executives to key management positions for the Asia-Pacific region: Edward Borgerding, vice president, Asia-Pacific; Koji Hoshino, executive vice president, Japan; Brian Spaulding, senior vice president and chief financial officer, Walt Disney International, Asia-Pacific; and Jun Tang, vice president for China affairs.
* Marvin Fritz has been named vice president of marketing for Puroflow Inc., the Van Nuys company said. Fritz had been with AAR Distribution of Elk Grove, Ill., where he served as vice president of rotable and repair operations and director of airline programs.
Puroflow manufactures high-performance filters for the defense, space and commercial aircraft and automotive industries.
* Steve Lee has been appointed vice president of marketing and corporate development for Franklin Telecom of Westlake Village, the company said. Lee has been a managing partner for Steve Lee & Associates, an e-commerce, technology and financial services firm.
Franklin Telecom designs hardware and software for the telecommunications industry.
* Brian P. McDermott, former president and chief executive of Leslie’s Poolmart of Chatsworth has been appointed chairman of the board, replacing Michael Forticq, who will remain a member of the board, the company said. Lawrence Hayward has been hired as president and chief executive.
Hayward had been president of ABCO Desert Markets, an Arizona-based retail chain owned by Fleming Companies Inc.
Leslie’s Poolmart markets swimming pool supplies and related products through 370 retail outlets in 30 states.
* Bonnie Fallone Otto has been promoted from director of branch operations to vice president of financial administration and operations for domestic distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures, the company said. As vice president, Fallone Otto oversees cash management, cash collections and operations for the Burbank-based company in the U.S. and Canada.
