GARDEN GROVE

Riverdale Elementary School will honor 16 students for carrying on the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. during its “Peace Assembly” on Tuesday. The students were nominated by their teachers for promoting campus harmony, and will be presented with medals for their cooperation, kindness and goodwill to classmates and school employees at the assembly. The school will also pay tribute to King, with students reading essays about the late civil rights leader.
