Calendar Changes

I’m waiting for the people who mistakenly believe we are no longer in the 20th century to launch a similarly misguided campaign to nip and tuck the calendar so that the 1700s are now considered the 17th century and the 1800s the 18th century, simply because it sounds better and it’s easier to remember. Never mind that this would effectively delete the 1st century and the events therein (Nero, the Coliseum, Jesus, etc.).
