McLean Named President of Telenetics Division
* John McLean has been named president of the new Wireless Data Networks division of Telenetics Corp. in Lake Forest. He had been with GTE for 27 years, holding several senior management positions, including vice president of GTE Telecommunications Products and Services and vice president of technology at GTE Wireless.
* Dick Bryan has been named vice president, customer care and quality assurance, for Irvine-based WL Homes LLC, the parent company of John Laing Homes. Bryan, who has been with the company since 1988, was previously vice president, customer care and quality assurance, for John Laing Homes’ Orange County division. Leah Schwochert has been appointed vice president, human resources. She had been director of human resources.
* Shannon O’Connell has been appointed senior sales manager at the Hilton Anaheim. She was formerly a sales manager at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines.
* Jim Murry has joined Micro General Corp. in Santa Ana as chief information officer. Murry was formerly chief information officer with UCI Health Sciences, where he provided operation oversight of information technology for the UC Irvine Medical Center, Medical Group and College of Medicine.
* Mark Z. Belzowski has moved from corporate controller to chief financial officer for Universal Electronics Inc. in Cypress. The position has been vacant since September 1998, when Paul Arling was appointed president and chief operating officer. Before joining Universal, Belzowski was vice president-controller at Turner Broadcasting Systems and vice president-corporate controller at Orion Pictures Corp.
* Brad Adamske is president and chief executive of NowDocs.com in Aliso Viejo, a laser printing and delivery service for business documents. Before founding the company, Adamske spent 14 years working for IBM, Data General, Auspex and Acuity. Clint Todish has been named vice president of technology and development. Rob Shirley is senior vice president, sales and business development. Shirley was most recently vice president of global sales for Federal Express. Rex Massey, former worldwide managing director for retail marketing operations and sales at FedEx, is NowDocs’ vice president of operations and customer service. Bennett Hirsch was named vice president of marketing. He spent 11 years with FedEx and was a consultant to a number of other large corporate clients in the areas of strategic planning, new product development and positioning, market research and sales force analysis. Michael S. Oswald, the company’s chief administrative officer and general counsel, joined NowDocs from Acuity, where he was a member of the management team that negotiated Acuity’s acquisition by Quintus Corp.
* Foster W. Mobley has been named president and managing partner of the Legacy Alliance in Santa Ana, a management consulting firm. He had been president of Organizational Technologies Inc. in Santa Ana since 1984.
* Kevin Campbell has been appointed senior vice president of Western Financial Bank’s Commercial Banking Group. He was formerly senior vice president of business banking and vice president of commercial banking for Bank of America.
* Li-Lin Ko has joined the board of directors of UCBH Holdings Inc., the holding company of United Commercial Bank. Ko is president of Paragon Credit Corp. in Irvine and executive vice president, finance of Pacific Shore Funding in Lake Forest.
