Huntway Refining Executive Is Promoted to President, CEO

Huntway Refining Co. has tapped executive vice president and chief financial officer Warren J. Nelson to become president and chief executive, effective March 1. Nelson will succeed Juan Forster, who is retiring. Huntway is a Newhall-based owner and operator of oil refineries in Wilmington and Benicia, which primarily process California crude oil to produce liquid asphalt for use in road construction and repair.

Los Angeles-based Windsor Capital Group, which owns and/or manages 24 hotels in 11 states, has named Mike Cryan president and chief operating officer. Cryan, a former co-chairman and chief operating officer of Homestead Village Inc., will be responsible for directing Windsor’s expansion of its hotel portfolio.

Kennedy-Wilson Inc., a Beverly Hills-based real estate services firm, has hired James Rosten as senior managing director of national corporate marketing. Rosten will direct initiatives focusing on new business development, expanding existing relationships and generating corporate strategic alliances for Kennedy-Wilson Properties, the division that manages and leases more than 75 million square feet of office, industrial, retail and multifamily property throughout the U.S. He previously served as president of the western region at Grubb & Ellis Management Services Inc.
