Pink Dot Names New Chief of Information

Pink Dot Inc. of Camarillo, a grocery, household staples and prepared-food delivery service, has named Scott Langdoc chief information officer.
Langdoc was formerly executive vice president and chief information officer of Raleys, a $3-billion regional grocery and drugstore chain.
At Pink Dot, Langdoc and his team will work to ensure that the company’s rapid delivery and order entry systems are positioned for major expansion.
“Scott’s expertise will be a dynamic asset to expanding the national base of locations and our increasing Web-generated sales,” Chief Executive Dan Frederickson said.
While at Raleys, Langdoc directed all information technology, including point-of-sale, voice and data networking, supply chain management systems, retail pricing and merchandising systems, and all administrative technology systems. Langdoc also led the development of the company’s Web site, awarded best Web site for 1999 by the National Grocers Assn.
