Organizers of the Surfline Surfing Championships plan to make a decision today on whether to go ahead with the event Saturday and Sunday. Although a predicted storm should produce decent-size waves, bacteria levels rising past health standards from runoff may cause cancellation of the event, a Seal Beach lifeguard representative said Wednesday.
