Magic Software Files for Follow-On Offering

Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. said Thursday that it has filed a document with the Securities and Exchange Commission to register 2 million shares of its stock in a follow-on offering, which is a form of secondary offering.

The Irvine provider of e-commerce and other business services said it is selling two-thirds of the amount offered and a shareholder is selling 666,666 shares.

The company’s stock rose $3.44 a share Thursday to close at $66.44.
