And it’s not just because of the international hit “Blue (Da Ba Dee)”--the singsongy, electro-pop tale of an azure alien. The Italian trio’s debut actually has songs even more annoying and banal, most, like the hit, abusing the Vocoder voice effect (a la Cher’s “Believe.”)
