Kevin Noleen scored his second goal of the game in the 96th minute to give El Paso a 2-1 overtime victory over the Waves Saturday at El Paso, Texas.

The Waves (8-8-1), who came into the game tied for first place with idle San Diego, wasted a chance to move alone atop the A-League’s Pacific Division standings.

Noleen opened the scoring in the 29th minute off an assist from Michael Griego before the Waves’ Jose Vasquez tied it in the 39th minute on an unassisted goal, his fourth of the season.
