Pen Interconnect to Acquire E Ware

Pen Interconnect Inc., an Irvine provider of manufacturing services, said Thursday it agreed to purchase E Ware Systems Inc., a privately held music industry software development firm in New York, for $1.2 million in cash, stock and notes. The transaction is expected to be completed in 60 to 90 days.
