InterGame CFO Is Named President

Arvin Erickson has been named president of InterGame, a Costa Mesa developer of interactive entertainment systems for airlines and cruise lines. Erickson, who has been at the company for more than three years, assumes the new title in addition to his positions as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Before joining InterGame, Erickson was chief financial officer, vice president and secretary of Digital Video Systems Inc. Before that, he was vice president and chief financial and administrative officer of InterActive Partners, a venture capital company.

* Behnam Bavarian has been named vice president of engineering for Printrak International Inc. in Anaheim. Bavarian had been director of engineering at Printrak before leaving in 1997 to become vice president of engineering for Mikohn Corp. in Las Vegas.

* Shawn Hezar has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president, client services and operations for Irvine-based Caliber Collision Centers. Before joining Caliber, Hezar owned Shawn’s Auto Works Inc., a Costa Mesa business that Caliber acquired in 1997. Dan Pettigrew has been named senior vice president, technology and integration. Before joining the company in 1997, Pettigrew had several years of business consulting experience, most recently with George Group Inc. He has also served as a management consultant with Deloitte & Touche and Andersen Consulting. In addition, Doug Boazman has been named senior vice president, operations and is responsible for overseeing the development and operations of Caliber’s Texas business. Boazman was formerly co-owner of Slim’s Paint & Body, which was acquired by Caliber.

* Alan Bearden is the new senior director of airline sales for Airshow Inc., a Tustin provider of passenger flight information systems. He had been director of sales at Sony Trans Com.

* Victor Allison is the new director of engineering for Viking Components Inc. in Rancho Santa Margarita. He was formerly the director of engineering at Gateway Computer. Before that, Allison was director of engineering and quality for Dell Computer, vice president of engineering for AirCommunications, department manager of engineering for Compaq Computer, and department manager of engineering and manufacturing for Texas Instruments.

* James P. Butler has been named chief financial officer and chief operating officer of ICX Electronics.com in San Clemente. He has previously held executive finance and operating positions at MicroTel International Inc., Peritronics Medical Inc., InnoServ Technologies, InnerSpace Medical and Corus Medical Corp.

* Tom O’Connor has joined the Keller Group, Investment Management Inc. in Irvine as director of financial planning. He was formerly a partner at the Ayco Co. and chief financial officer at Spectrum Financial Network. John Appleby was named senior portfolio manager. He had been a senior portfolio manager with Palley-Needleman Asset Management.

* Ronald S. Crane has been appointed senior vice president and senior credit administration officer for People’s Bank of California in Irvine. He was formerly with Wells Fargo Bank and was senior vice president, credit administration, at Pacific Century Bank and Sumitomo Bank of California.
