There’s Got to Be a More Accurate Name for SUVs

Another article on SUVs (“Ethical Issues With the Incredible Hulk,” July 5) and still no one seems to be questioning the “S” in SUV. I own one and these things are trucks; they have about as much sportiness as a minivan. Depending on an owner’s needs, however, they do have a great deal of utility, so why don’t we invoke the truth in labeling statute and call them “Utes” as do our friends down in Australia?
