Irvine’s FutureLink Corp. Shuffles Its Lineup

Dorothy Farris has joined FutureLink Corp. in Irvine as vice president of sales for the ASP division. Previously, she was regional director for Wyse Inc. In addition, Chris Harvey, formerly director of FutureLink’s southeast region, was promoted to senior vice president of the company’s Server-Based Computing division. Gary Garcia also has joined the company as vice president of human resources. He was most recently vice president of human resources for Star Telecommunications in Santa Barbara. David Fung has been named president of FutureLink Canada. Fung joined FutureLink in June when his company, Charon Systems of Toronto, was acquired by FutureLink. Fung had been president, chief executive and co-founder of Charon Systems since 1992.

* David E. Bui has been named vice president, management services, for Transwestern Commercial Services in Santa Ana. He was formerly with the Seeley Co. as associate vice president and senior marketing executive, responsible for sales and marketing in the San Gabriel Valley.

* Harry Ngo has joined Prudential Relocation International, a division of Prudential Relocation in Irvine, as vice president of business development for the Asia-Pacific region. Ngo will be based in Hong Kong.

* Dave Weigel has formed Commercial Realty in Huntington Beach, focusing on commercial real estate brokerage, consulting and development. He was formerly vice president of real estate development at the corporate headquarters of Home Base Inc. in Irvine. Before that, Weigel was vice president of real estate for Lucky Stores, now Albertson’s.
