Tekelec Reports 2nd-Quarter Income

Tekelec of Calabasas reported net income of $2 million for the second quarter that ended June 30, compared with a net loss of $6.1 million for the second quarter of 1999. Revenues rose to $74.1 million from $51.7 million.
