* Re “California and 5 Other States Sue WorldCom,” July 21: So, several states are suing WorldCom, AT&T; and Sprint for tricking customers with deceptive advertising, fraudulent tactics, slamming, cramming and the list goes on.
I have been a victim of two of these companies’ many nasty tricks. I don’t remember having a single one of these problems before the breakup of AT&T; in 1984.
Competition is supposed to be a good thing. Maybe some changes are not for the better!
