Magellan Software Merges With Gauss

Magellan Software Inc., an Irvine Internet Web content management company, was merged officially Friday with a German company for an undisclosed price.

Magellan and Gauss Interprise AG in Frankfurt said in a joint press release that the merged company will be known worldwide as Gauss Interprise.

Magellan co-founder and president, Ronald M. Vangell, was appointed to the executive board of Gauss and will have responsibility for all business affairs in the Americas. The U.S. operation is based in Irvine.
