This article was interesting, but how could the writer have missed the best source in Ventura County for preplanning after-death arrangements?

The Funeral Consumers Alliance (formerly Channel Cities Memorial Society) was founded almost three decades ago to fight exploitation of the bereaved. Our members record their wishes and take advantage of our contracts with local morticians.

For a lifetime membership fee of $25, we feel assured of simplicity, dignity and economy. We also have a helpful packet titled “Before I Go, You Should Know” available for a small fee.
