Disbarment Cases

Re “Clinton Disbarment Case Doesn’t Fit the Mold,” May 27:

This analysis of President Clinton’s most recent quagmire included examples of more memorable legal disciplinary cases in Arkansas, including that of Eugene Fitzhugh, who “was disbarred and sent to prison when he pleaded guilty to bribing a judge.” Times readers might be interested to know that Fitzhugh’s disbarment and conviction were a direct result of the Whitewater investigation. We shall see if this falls into the category of irony, or merely satire.
