Westminster High School math teacher Marianne L. Clarke is one of 50 U.S. teachers taking part in an educational and cultural study program in Japan today through June 23.

Clarke and the other high school teachers were chosen from hundreds of applicants to the Toyota International Teacher Program by best describing how the experience would benefit their students. The teachers’ itinerary includes visiting cultural and historic sites, touring factories and staying with Tokyo families.
