The premiere of the new action movie “Gone in 60 Seconds” at the Mann’s National in Westwood was as much a coming-out party for newlyweds Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton as a big summer movie premiere.

Much attention was poured on the couple, wearing his-and-hers leather pants, who wed on the fly several weeks ago. They cuddled and posed on the red carpet, and Jolie proudly showed off her latest tattoo, which says “Billy Bob” in swirly script on her left arm.

The after-party Monday night was, appropriately enough, at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Mid-Wilshire. (The movie is about a marathon car heist.)

Cast members Nicolas Cage, Giovanni Ribisi, Delroy Lindo, Timothy Olyphant and drop-dead sexy Scott Caan (son of James Caan) were joined at the party by Disney honcho Michael Eisner (with guest Lee Iacocca), Ben Affleck, Michael Clarke Duncan (who for some reason got stuck holding the door to the men’s room open for 15 minutes) and Juliette Lewis. And of course director Dominic Sena, producer Jerry Bruckheimer (with fellow action-meister Michael Bay), songwriter Diane Warren (who wrote the film’s “Painted on My Heart”) as well as members of the band the Cult, who perform the song for the closing credits.
